Jim started his accounting career in the late 1980’s working as a staff accountant for a small accounting firm.  After obtaining his CA designation, he moved to Stern Cohen LLP where he stayed for 20 years and became Principal.  Desiring to be part of a fast-growing team, Jim once again joined another small firm before moving over to Grewal Guyatt LLP.  Jim has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience working with owner-managed businesses including bookkeeping and controllership support (using numerous accounting software programs), accounting, auditing, income tax (personal, corporate, trusts and estates) and financial planning.
