Principal – Valuations and Litigation Support

Tom Strezos, CPA, CA, CBV, CFE, ASA

Tom was a partner at Deloitte and was in charge of the Business Valuation, Litigation and Forensic Accounting Services team for its Private Client Financial Advisory Services group. He obtained his Chartered Accountant’s designation in 1986 and his Chartered Business Valuator’s designation in 1992.

Tom has qualified as an expert witness in the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Criminal Court, United States District Court, Southern District of Florida and Quebec Superior Court – District of Montreal, for business valuations, fraud-related cases and quantifying economic damages. He has also advised companies on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Tom has made numerous presentations on business valuations, the quantification of economic damages and fraud to law firms, insurance companies and corporations. Tom has been involved with the Institute of Chartered Business Valuators and set the Institute’s final litigation course exam for three years.

Tom has led hundreds of business valuation, damage quantification and fraud cases over his 30 years of working exclusively in this area. He also does family law valuations and income determinations. He has worked for companies in virtually every industry and has appeared as an expert witness in Courts throughout North America on more than 50 occasions. He is a sought out speaker on business valuations, damage quantification and expert witness matters.
