FORENSICS

Forensic Accounting relates to the utilization of specialized accounting skills to investigate suspected or alleged fraud.  Resulting from these investigations, we analyze and summarize the financial information for use in legal proceedings. Our specialized investigative skills are conducted in such a manner that the outcome will have application to a court of law.

We are often retained by current or former business owners, individuals and lawyers to provide investigative and forensic accounting services.  The following are typical forensic accounting assignments in which we have acted on behalf of clients:

  • Misappropriation of estate, corporate or personal assets
  • Employee fraud investigations
  • Investigative due diligence
  • Civil and criminal fraud investigations
  • Litigation support
  • Family disputes
